The short version
becomingnewman has no user accounts, no login, no newsletter, no marketing pixels, and no advertising trackers we add ourselves. The only personal data we ever see is an email you choose to send us (for example, when you email to ask about the Discord list).
How the tools work
Every tool on the site runs entirely in your browser. Your inputs are used to compute a result on your device. We do not receive them. Some tools save your progress in your browser's local storage so it is there next time you visit. That data stays on your device and you can clear it any time from your browser settings.
Blog articles
Reading an article does not require an account. Our host and content delivery network see standard web request data (IP address, user agent, page requested) for security, abuse prevention, and basic aggregate traffic counts. We do not build user profiles from this data.
Emails you send us
If you email becomingnewmanbrand@gmail.com (for example, to be added to the Discord interest list), your email address and the message you send are visible to us in our inbox. We use it only to reply and, if you asked to be on the Discord list, to invite you when the Discord opens. We do not sell it, share it, or add it to any marketing list.
Cookies and local storage
We use browser local storage to remember your tool progress and to remember that you have dismissed the site notice. That's it. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking cookies from us.
Third parties
The site is hosted on a third-party platform and uses a third-party font provider (Google Fonts) so type loads quickly. The hosting platform may run its own operational scripts (for example, error monitoring or traffic measurement) on the pages we serve. Those providers process standard web request data on their own terms.
Your rights
Because we do not maintain user accounts or a user database, there is usually nothing for us to look up, export, or delete. If you have emailed us and would like your email removed, reply to the thread and we will delete it.
